End of Summer Concert
Our third annual end-of-summer concert will be hosted by Ashley Smiley on Saturday, September 13th, from 5-7:30pm, at the 1st pool and pavilion on Old World. Blue Sky Band will be playing music, and Sushi Shack and Negranti Ice Cream will be there serving up great food and treats for purchase. We hope to see you all there!
Pedestrian Safety
The kids are back at school, walking to and from bus stops. Parents and caregivers, help your youngsters understand the importance of bicycle and street crossing safety. Motorists, reduce your speed while driving in the community and be vigilant of youngsters biking, walking and playing.
Common Areas
Please do not play in the pond or small river features in the common areas. Building dams or throwing rocks can create issue for these features. Please make sure your kids are aware of this.
Golf Carts
Concerned residents have observed drivers recklessly operating golf carts within the community. It’s essential for residents to make sure drivers in their home are aware of how to drive these items safely, follow speed limits, and have pedestrian awareness. You must be licensed to operate these carts and should only drive on the street, not in common areas. If you ever have any concerns on these rules, you’re welcome to reach out to the Eagle Police.
Monthly Meetings
The Board of Directors convenes monthly at the Orchard Park Library, adjacent to WinCo on Chinden. Meeting dates, contingent upon room availability and members’ schedules, are posted on our online calendar as they are confirmed. Due to the library’s advance booking limitations, we advise interested parties to frequently consult the calendar for the latest updates on meeting schedules. The next meeting will be held on September 25th at 6pm.
Parkway Trees
We’ve noticed many residents have lost some trees in the parkways, area between sidewalk and street. Please know that these trees are required and should be replaced as needed. If you have any questions on the tree or landscaping requirements, please do not hesitate to reach out to management.
Pet Reminders
Please remember to clean up after your pet, including both the waste and poop bags provided for residents and their four-legged family members. It’s not pleasant, but responsible pet ownership requires it. Do not leave your poop bags in the common areas for others to pick up. Please also try to avoid allowing your pet use a neighbor’s yard as a restroom. Respect others and keep public spaces clean for everyone. Dogs and cats alike should always be leashed when off your property to prevent unexpected encounters with people or other animals. This simple act ensures everyone’s safety and comfort.
