Fireworks

If your holiday celebration includes fireworks, it’s important to know which are legal or not and the safest ways to handle them. Aerial fireworks are illegal in Idaho, although you can purchase them legally in the state. Aerial fireworks can start wildfires and cause injuries. We don’t want any accidents in the community, so please use extreme caution and follow these TIPS. Clean up after yourselves. Even safe and sane fireworks can leave messes in yards and streets. Be sure to appropriately soak and dispose of any messes. Common areas may not be used to light off fireworks. Also, please be aware that neighbors and animals may not all like fireworks, so keep to reasonable timing. We greatly appreciate everyone’s consideration, and hope you have a very safe and enjoyable holiday!

Adult Pool Hours

Some residents have expressed interest in adult-only pool hours.  The HOA must consider that all homeowners possess equal rights to access shared amenities during designated pool hours. Consequently, we cannot restrict pool access for any member of any age during established hours.

Tree Update

We have replaced a ton of trees. We’re taking a break with the heat and because the crews have stuff to work on. We’ll re-evaluate what is left and where we are cost-wise and look at more in the fall or next spring. We understand this is a process and takes lots of time, and we appreciate everyone’s patience.

Lap Swim

The pools are open from 7am-8am for lap swimming only. We’re still getting set up during this time often, so no regular swimming or parties this early. When at the pools, please don’t open the gates for someone without a pool key. Please also make sure the gates are shut behind you.

Pet Amendment

Thank you all who participated in the pet amendment. We received 169 votes in favor, but needed 186, so we were 17 votes shy. There were 60 votes not in favor. This means this amendment did not pass at this time.

RVs & Trailers

The camping and boating season is underway.  Please ensure your RV, camper or boat does not obstruct sidewalks during loading or unloading.  Obstructing the sidewalk poses significant safety risks to pedestrians, cyclists, scooters, etc. potentially leading to accidents or injuries.  RVs are permitted for 48 hours for loading and unloading.

Golf Carts

Concerned residents have observed young drivers recklessly operating golf carts within the community.  It’s essential for parents and caregivers to educate young drivers on road safety, speed limits, and pedestrian awareness.

Decorative Lighting

Decorative lighting has been observed strung along the wrought iron fencing adjacent to the common areas.  Decorative lighting should not unduly illuminate other properties. Please make sure you are not impacting the neighbors, and these are only on when in use, and off at late hours.

Pet Reminders

Please remember to clean up after your pet. It’s not pleasant, but responsible pet ownership requires it. Respect others and keep public spaces clean for everyone. Dogs and cats alike should always be leashed when off your property to prevent unexpected encounters with people or other animals. This simple act ensures everyone’s safety and comfort.
