Welcome
We are so glad you’ve chosen to live in Homestead. Our community is staged for a leap in growth this next year, so we hope you are ready! Each month we will send out a newsletter via email to update residents on what’s going on in the neighborhood, or remind you of rules, and share information. Please reach out to hoa@brightoncorp.com should you have any questions. We are looking forward to working with you all in building up this beautiful community!
Pool Time
The pool is open and families are already enjoying the water. Due to popular demand we have re-instated the lap swimming time from 7am-8am. This hour is designated for lap swimming only, please. Also, now is a great time to make sure you know the rules for using the facilities. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult (18 years of age or older). Children between 13 and 17 years of age may not watch younger children. This is a family community and foul language or inappropriate behavior is acceptable. Let’s all be courteous and this will be a great pool season!
Vandalism
We’ve received reports of windows and doors being damaged by kids throwing rocks through them in the construction area. Please make sure your kids know the construction sites are not play areas. Police reports have been filed and the builders are taking additional precautions.
There’s also been reports of kids climbing on to the pool house roof, using the picnic benches in the pavilion as a place to ride their scooters and bikes, using the grass retention areas as a place to ride their motorbikes, and also removing rocks from the creek bed in the common areas. Please talk with your families so these types of events and occurrences are no longer happening. We want to avoid injuries and damages to the community amenities.
Barking
Dogs barking is something we understand and know will happen from time to time. However, we’ve noticed with the warmer weather it’s happening much more. Please make sure your beloved pet is not barking for extended periods. Working from home, or trying to enjoy your patio with a neighbor’s dog barking for hours gets frustrating. Make sure your pet is behaving when you are home and when you are not home.
Recreational Vehicles
It’s time to get out and enjoy the outdoors, travel, and do all kinds of fun things. We want you to live and enjoy these opportunities. However, there are rules for bringing home campers, RVs, boats, ATVs, etc… Please follow the 24 hour rule for having these items out in view. We greatly appreciate everyone helping to maintain the rules of the community! |
