November 2023 Community Newsletter
Happy Thanksgiving
Our office will be closed November 23-24 for Thanksgiving. We wish you a most wonderful holiday with your friends and family.
It’s Getting Dark
With the change in the season, it is now dark earlier and longer. Please make sure that your exterior lights are working and on to help keep the community well-lit and safe.
New Website Access Portal
Brighton Corporation is constantly looking for new ways to improve the services provided to our communities. We are committed to providing our residents a superior level of service. With this in mind, we are excited to announce our new website access portal and mobile app. By going to https://brightoncorp.cincwebaxis.com/, you’ll be able to create a login and start viewing your account balance, make payments, and sign up for e-statements. The 2024 January assessments (dues) will be going out in December. Watch for additional information as we continue to roll out this new feature and services.
2024 Dues
The Board of Directors reviewed the budget in great detail and collected bids for services. Unfortunately, in order to combat increased costs of maintenance, and to start building reserves, the dues will be increased $165 for at total of $1265 a year. With the increase, the dues will be billed out in quarterly installments at $316.25, however they can always be paid in full in advance. A copy of the budget will be sent out with the dues.
Snow Removal
The first snowfall is just around the corner. Make sure you are ready. Do not push snow into the streets and keep drains clear. The Association will clear snow at 2″ around the mailbox structures for the postal carrier deliveries.
See Something, Say Something
We greatly appreciate neighbors reporting vandalism or any other activities they see in the community. As an association, we’re all responsible for any costs associated with repairs, so it’s up to all of us to take care of our community and to report anything that may be of concern. Most recently, there was some graffiti reported, which we are happy to share is being addressed by some responsible parents. There have also been reports of dirt bikes in the common area. Please make sure your kids are not using the common areas for riding. It’s damaging and dangerous. We are also starting a neighborhood watch group to hopefully assist with these types of items. If we all work together we can maintain our beautiful community!
Reminders
There are still a few things that are regularly reported in the community that we want to remind you of:
1) Garbage cans should be stored out of view, and only out for pickup day.
2) Holiday lights should be turned on no more than 30 days prior to the holiday and removed within 30 days.
3) Dogs should be leashed at all times when not on your property.
4) Golf carts should be driven on the roads only by a licensed driver.
